On September 29, 2022, a delegation of the Pasteur Institute of Iran, led by the Director of the Institute, Prof. Rahim Sorouri, paid an official visit to the Saint-Petersburg Pasteur Institute.
Director of the Saint-Petersburg Pasteur Institute, Prof. Areg Totolian, welcoming the guests, presented to the colleagues the programme of the meeting, which also included the visits to the laboratories of the Institute. Deputy Director for Innovation, Dr. Svetlana Egorova, and Deputy Director for Research, Dr. Vladimir Dedkov, informed about the structure, main activities and international cooperation of the Saint-Petersburg Pasteur Institute.
The Iranian delegation made a presentation on the history of the establishment and activities of the Pasteur Institute of Iran.
During the visit, the parties signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of biological research, education and training.
