From February 25 to March 12, 2020, a group of scientists from the Saint-Petersburg Pasteur Institute conducted a number of research projects in the Institute of Applied Biology of Guinea (Kindia, Republic of Guinea) in the framework of the Russian-Guinean Cooperation Program.
The Russian delegation included Elena Zueva, Anastasia Antipova, senior researchers of the Laboratory of Experimental Virology, and Alexander Schemelev, junior researcher of the Laboratory of HIV Immunology and Virology.
According to the plan of research the study of the biomaterial from various groups of patients was carried out (more than 900 blood sera were examined for 7 biomarkers by ELISA and PCR). The samples have been preserved for further testing.
