On January 20-31, 2025, Svetlana Egorova, deputy director for innovation, Anastasia Antipova, senior researcher, laboratory of experimental virology, Natalia Kurova, senior researcher, laboratory of medical bacteriology, Oyuna Zhimbaeva, doctor of clinical laboratory diagnostics, and Vsevolod Skvoroda, junior researcher, laboratory of viral hepatitis, in cooperation with colleagues from Rafael Rangel National Institute of Hygiene (Caracas, Venezuela), are conducting research to assess immunity to vaccine-preventable infections, as well as the prevalence of viral hepatitis in the population of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
